Hello! Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

Welcome to my newsletter! I’m sharing garden updates, craft projects, articles to read, and book recommendations. I want to keep putting light and levity and kindness in the world, and I think that often starts right around your house and then spills out into your neighborhood and beyond. Let’s cheer each other on with appreciating the small things and trying to become the best version of ourselves–because that’s who can change the world. And our world needs us so much right now.

I used to own a little shop called Retro Den in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a dear friend also named Ashley. It closed at the beginning of the pandemic, but from it I learned, among many things, that I love to share projects and information about plants/gardens, home, craft, and community. So here I am! Doing that still. I also really enjoy laughing. And bluejays and reading.

I’m married to a nice red-headed man, and we have a bright-hearted daughter and a really fuzzy dog named Walter.

I want love to be the motivating force of all I do in my life. And to add to that hippy business, I wear overalls a lot now, eat weeds and plants from my own backyard, and hug trees.
